Completio is a mobile word game where players take turns adding letters to word fragments on a grid. The goal: avoid completing a valid word of four or more letters, while keeping the fragment playable. A player loses if they complete a word or cannot find a valid letter to play.
Play with friends or against AI opponents, each with their own vocabulary, playing style, and difficulty.
Each turn presents a small puzzle: choose a letter that extends any word on the grid without finishing it. A strong move balances vocabulary knowledge and strategic foresight, attempting to set traps for your opponent while leaving yourself a path forward.
In addition to playing asynchronously with friends, Completio features adaptive AI opponents powered by a dynamic strategy model. Each bot has its own personality... some have huge vocabulary, some play conservatively, some bluff often, some aren't all that bright, and others are ruthless about trapping you. With the near-infinite tuneability of bots, gameplay always feels fresh.

Behind the scenes, Completio uses a highly efficient gameplay engine and dictionary for fast gameplay. The app itself is built with Flutter, allowing us to combine elegant design, intelligent play, and technical performance and release updates across multiple platforms in record time.
Stage: Beta on iOS (TestFlight). Core gameplay complete, with ongoing tuning of AI personalities and word validation, and improving the overall flow.
